Believe it or not, this is a true animal that exists in the world. This daunting animal can be found in only Madagascar. In Madagascar, this creature is known to be some type of omen. The idea of the animal scares people, and they actually believe that they bring death upon them. The Aye-Aye is an endangered lemur species because their habitats are being constantly ruined by the people of Madagascar. Forests are being cut down to create coconut and sugarcane plantations, forcing the Aye-Aye to find new locations. The problem is they’re starting to run out of places to go, causing these animals to slowly disappear in extinction. Those who don’t move, due to the plantations, use the plantations as a source of food. Unfortunately, farmers don’t approve of the pests, and try to exterminate them. Though it’s been made laws not kill any type lemurs, many people ignore the requests and do what they feel is best for their crops. So even though this bizarre, ugly being is unpleasant to look at, their still living creatures, which deserve a chance to live.
